18 Day European Cavalcade
Your Trip starts in London to Amsterdam where you will stay overnight. The second day you travel to Rhine, Heidelberg and stay over in Rhineland. Next its onto Lucerne for a two night stay before heading to Liechtenstein and staying over at Innsbruck. On the sixth day you travel to Verona and stay for two nights in Venice then two nights in Rome. On the tenth day you enter the Bay of Naples with an overnight stay then travel to Florence for a two night stay. Day thirteen its onto Pisa, Monaco and stay for two nights in Nice. The fifteenth day you visit Avignon and stay over in Lyon. The last two nights you will be in Paris before heading back to London.

First day Arrive in Amsterdam
Greetings from your Travel Director! See the White Cliffs of Dover as you board the ferry and cross to Calais, France. Continue by road through the Belgian and Dutch countryside to Amsterdam, one of Europe's friendliest cities.

Second day Rhine Cruise, Heidelberg and Rhineland
Drive eastwards into Germany and follow the Rhine Valley southwards. Take a leisurely cruise along the River Rhine, past picturesque villages and vineyards. Later in the town of Heidelberg view the castle, a magnificent example of Renaissance architecture. Continue by road to your hotel, where you dine tonight.
Third day Travel from Rhineland to Lucerne
Journey via Freiburg through the beautiful Black Forest region. Stop at Schaffhausen to view the mighty Rhine Falls and arrive later at Lake Lucerne, your home for the next two nights.

Fourth day enjoy Orientation and Free Time in Lucerne
Visit the poignant Lion Monument and the old town during your orientation tour of Lucerne. Afterwards, in your free time, consider a scenic cruise on the lake, shop for Swiss watches and chocolates or take a cog railway up one of the nearby mountains to enjoy the amazing views!
Fifth day Journey to Liechtenstein then Innsbruck
Cross the Swiss border to Liechtenstein for a brief stop in the capital, Vaduz. Continue into Austria, via the Arlberg region, to Innsbruck, capital of the Tyrol.

Sixth day from Innsbruck to Verona and venice
Marvel at Innsbruck's sights including the Golden Roof and the Hofburg Palace. Travel through the Brenner Pass into Italy and view Juliet's balcony in Verona, the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Your day ends in the magical Byzantine city of Venice, Queen of the Adriatic.

Seventh day enjoy Orientation and Free Time in Venice
Evidence of Venice's former maritime power and wealth is everywhere you look as you cruise by private launch to St. Mark's Square. Watch the Venetian craftsmen at work creating local specialities at a glassblowing workshop on Giudecca Island. Then spend free time exploring this fascinating city on your own.
Eighth day Travel from Venice to Rome
Traverse the flat plains of Veneto and cross the dramatic Apennine hills. Admire splendid scenery as you drive through the rolling Tuscan countryside, arriving later in the capital, Rome.

Ninth day take some Free Time and Sightseeing in Rome
Your Local Specialist takes you on a sightseeing tour which starts with a visit to St. Peter's Basilica. Continue to ancient Rome to view the Forum and Colosseum. Later enjoy your free time seeing the sights or shopping for souvenirs.
Tenth day its onto the bay of naples
Pass the Abbey of Monte Cassino en route to the Bay of Naples, where you might like to take an excursion to explore the excavations of Pompeii. Dine tonight at your hotel.
Eleventh day Scenic drive to Florence
Drive north to Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance. Admire views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Later, check into your hotel.

Twelfth day enjoy Free Time and Sightseeing in Florence

Thirteeth day Visit Pisa, Monaco and Nice
View the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Continue past Genoa and view the famous casino of Monte Carlo. Arrive later in Nice, glittering capital

Fourteenth day its Orientation and Free Time in Nice
Orientation includes the Promenade des Anglais and the Place Masséna. Spend the rest of the day relaxing.
Fifteenth day Travel to Avignon then Lyon
Admire the beautiful countryside around Aix-en-Provence, where Van Gogh liked to paint. In Avignon view the Palace of the Popes and the famous bridge. Continue through the Rhône Valley to Lyon.

Seventeenth day enjoy Sightseeing and Free Time in Paris

Eighteenth day Depart Paris
Head north to Calais for your cross-Channel ferry to England. Continue to London where your exciting holiday ends!

Swiss Folklore Evening And Dinner. Tonight we'll enjoy a tasty Swiss meal, including the famous Swiss cheese fondue, in a typical restaurant. While enjoying dinner, you can also join in a lively folklore show which includes yodelling, flag-throwing and Alpine horn-blowing. Two drinks are also included.
Mount Rigi And Lake Cruise. Come with us as we ascend to the summit of Mount Rigi by cable car, where you'll have time to explore and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Later we'll descend by cable car once more, before enjoying a cruise on the tranquil waters of Lake Lucerne.
Mount Stanserhorn And Lake Cruise. Take a scenic cruise with us across Lake Lucerne to Stans, and one of Switzerland's oldest mountain railways. Travelling by railway and Cabri cable car, we'll reach 1900m (6300ft), where you'll have free time to admire the stunning Alpine scenery and enjoy some refreshments. (On certain departures Optional may be operated in reverse, ending with the cruise.)
Amsterdam Discovery And Canal Cruise. The best way to see Amsterdam, you'll enjoy a private canal cruise in our glass roofed boat, to see the areas our coach can't reach. With our Local Specialist you'll view the great merchant houses and historical churches and explore the colourful Red Light District, with its famous coffee houses and notorious window shopping.
Dinner In A Historic Dutch House. Join us for a delicious meal of Dutch specialities, including drinks, in the elegant surroundings of this historic house.
Alpine Horse And Carriage Ride. A spectacular drive leads us to a typical mountain village where you'll experience a horse drawn carriage ride through the magnificent alpine scenery. You'll also enjoy an included drink at a traditional Tyrolean Gasthof before our return to Innsbruck.
Traditional Tyrolean Evening. You'll enjoy a lively evening of traditional entertainment, as singers, dancers, and musicians dressed in national costume provide a colourful show of folklore and fun. Includes two drinks.
Discover The Magic Of Venice. Join us for a scenic cruise by private water taxi along Venice's Grand Canal. You'll admire the magnificent palazzos, as well as catching a glimpse of the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. Later on, you'll glide gracefully on a gondola along Venice's dreamy, narrow waterways. And if you're lucky, your gondolier will serenade you with an Italian classic.
Lagoon Discovery Cruise With Food And Drinks. Come with us on a private boat trip to the lagoon in Venice and you'll see the island of Murano, where the renowned glassblowers live. You'll enjoy lunch or dinner with drinks at the nearby 'Island of the Fishermen', Burano, which is famous for its multi-coloured houses and a photographer's paradise.
An Introduction To Rome. As you meander slowly through Rome's labyrinth of narrow streets and beautiful squares, our Local Specialist will tell you stories of how each area has developed over centuries, creating an amazing legacy for us today.
