Day by day

First Day Welcome to Paris

Enjoy your complimentary private VIP door-to-door transfer to your UK departure airport. On arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, our airport transfers depart for your hotel at 08:30, 11:00 and 13:30. The afternoon is yours to relax and settle in. Second Day see the sights of Paris

In the mid 19th century, Baron Haussmann transformed much of medieval Paris into a modern city; admire his work on a morning city tour with a Local Expert. See all the main sights: Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe. Ascend to the viewing platforms of the Eiffel Tower for spectacular panoramas of the city. (BB)

Third Day enjoy Free Time in Paris

There is certainly no shortage of things to do and see in this great capital city. You could cruise on the Seine or ascend the hill of Montmartre by funicular, for superb panoramic views. Why not enjoy a pleasant hour or two watching the passers-by from a Parisian café or perhaps meet the enigmatic Mona Lisa in the Louvre? Maybe visit the Orangery to admire Monet’s famous water lilies or join an experience to the country house and garden which inspired the painting. (BB)

Fourth Day Board the TGV Train to Provence through to Avignon

Board your comfortable TGV train for a journey through fertile vineyards and agricultural lands to Provence. Journey to see the incredible Roman, three-tiered Pont du Gard. On wards to the pretty village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where a sommelier will introduce you to to the famous wine. Taste the difference for yourself and learn about the different grape varieties that are allowed in the final blend of the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine. Continue to Avignon and your hotel for the next three nights. (BB),(D)

Fifth Day we head to Arles then back to Avignon

Head to the beautiful town of Arles, ancient capital of Gaul, to follow in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh during your orientation tour. Then return to Avignon and walk through the medieval battlements to reach the historic centre dominated by the fortified Papal Palace. The rest of the afternoon you are at leisure. (BB)

Sixth Day its Avignon at your Leisure

The day is at leisure for you to relax and soak up the atmosphere of Avignon. Why not take an optional experience to Les Baux-de-Provence, one of the most picturesque villages in France for a visit to an olive mill and to sample some of the finest olive oil in France? In the evening, you will be offered a fine selection of local restaurants to choose from on your Dine-Around Evening. Bon appétit! (BB),(DA)

Seventh Day see Aix-En-Provence, St-Paul-De-Vence and stay at Monaco

Journey to Aix-en-Provence, 'the most beautiful town in France after Paris'. See the elegant mansions and bustling cafés of the Cours Mirabeau, then continue to the hilltop village of St-Paul-de-Vence, where contemporary painters perpetuate art as a living tradition. A walk through its winding streets reveals elegant fountains, vine-covered stone walls, and views of mountains and sea. Your home for the next three nights is the Principality of Monaco, ruled by the Grimaldi family since the 13th century. (BB)

Eighth Day its the Monaco Experience

Unlock the secrets of the French perfume industry with a visit to a perfumery, where fragrance experts waft exclusive scents. Back in Monaco, drive along part of the Grand Prix circuit then walk with your Tour Director through the old town. See the Royal Palace, where the Grimaldi family live, the yacht-filled harbour and visit the Cathedral, housing the tombs of the late Prince Rainier and Princess Grace. The rest of the day is completely free to explore this fashionable resort or venture further afield. Perhaps take an optional experience to the magnificent villa of the Baroness Rothschild, situated on Cap Ferrat? (BB)

Ninth Day a day at your leisure in Monaco

Easy Pace means more time at leisure. Maybe have a late breakfast, take an optional experience to the glamorous seaside resort of Nice, or try your luck in one of the casinos of Monte Carlo? Tenth Day Au Revoir French Riviera

Bid au revoir to the sunny French Riviera in the morning. Insight's airport transfers arrive at Nice Airport at 06:15 and 09:00. On arrival at your UK airport, your driver will greet and escort you to your waiting car for your return private VIP transfer home. (BB)
