First and Second Day Welcome to Singapore

Arrive in Singapore for a two-night stay at the iconic Raffles Hotel.

Third Day its onto Malaysia

Check-in for your train journey and meet fellow travellers before departing on the Eastern and Oriental Express train.

Enjoy afternoon tea on board and spend some time relaxing or exploring the train. After dinner, disembark for an evening stroll through Kuala Lumpur’s magnificent station.

Fourth Day we head for Thailand

Enjoy breakfast in your cabin before disembarking at Kuala Kangsar. Tour this royal town, visiting the Ubudiah Mosque, the Royal Museum of Perak and the Sultan Shah Gallery.

Rejoin the train for a delicious lunch, and then watch the ever-changing scenery as you cross into Thailand. Share stories with your fellow travellers over dinner before retiring for the night.

Fifth and Sixth Day Sightseeing in Thailand then its Bangkok

Alight in the morning at the River Kwai Bridge station for a sightseeing cruise with a local historian. Afterwards, visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre and take some time to visit the Don Rak War Cemetery. Return to the train for lunch, before ending your journey in Bangkok in the late afternoon.

Enjoy a private transfer to the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, and settle in for two-nights in this lively city. Explore Bangkok at leisure, although additional tours can be arranged for you.

Seventh Day Fly to Laos and stay in Luang Prabang

After breakfast enjoy a private transfer to the airport for your Bangkok Airways Economy Class flight to Laos.

Eighth Day see Ancient Temples and Stupas

This morning your guide will meet you at the hotel for a private transfer to the city centre. Walk along past ancient temples and admire the magnificent stupas.

End the tour with a gentle hike to the top of Mount Phousi, located in the centre of town, and admire the wonderful view across the Mekong and Khan rivers.

Ninth Day Cookery Course in Laos

Learn to prepare exotic Lao dishes with a hands-on cookery course.

After a brief introduction to the local ingredients, enjoy cooking alongside one of our skilled chefs. Finally, sit down at the hotel restaurant to savour your freshly prepared dishes.

Tenth Day Visit Kuang Si Waterfall and National Park

After breakfast, depart on a one-hour drive to the picturesque Kuang Si waterfall. Take a leisurely hike through the national park and feast on a special picnic lunch.

For the more adventurous, continue to the top of the main waterfall, where you can swim in a large natural pool. Please remember to wear proper trekking attire if you’re going to the top of the waterfall.

Eleventh Day enjoy a day at your Leisure

Enjoy the day at leisure, whether laying by the pool or indulging in a spa treatment at the hotel’s Mekong Spa.
