 Day 1 - Arrive Rome (2 nights)
Trafalgar meets you at Rome's Fiumicino airport and transfers you to your hotel. Tonight, dinner is included after meeting your Tour Director and fellow passengers. (Dinner)
Day 2 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure
Our morning sightseeing features the Forum and Colosseum and visits St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. At leisure perhaps visit the Sistine Chapel or wander round the medieval quarter and stop to throw some coins into the Trevi Fountain! (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 4 - Rome - Venice (Mestre)
Today we drinve through the hilltop towns of the Umbria and the Apennine Mountains. Then via Bologna to the plains of Veneto and our Venice hotel. Tonight after dinner, a gondola serenade is a must!

Day 5 - Venice sightseeing - Italian Lakes
Our private motor launch takes us on a canal cruise to St. Mark's Square to admire the Bridge of Sighs and the Doges' Palace. Afterwards, we visit a traditional glass-blowing factory, with free time to shop. From here we drive to the beautiful lake district and Lake Varese. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 6 - Lucerne - Paris (2 nights)
Via Basel and into France we pass Belfort and remnants of the Maginot Line. We stop to view the vineyards at Savigny-Les-Beaune, before passing Chateauneuf to Paris. Tonight, why not enjoy dinner in a left bank bistro? (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 7 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure
Morning sightseeing includes views of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees and the tomb of the unknown soldier at the Arc de Triomphe. Later, perhaps visit the chateau of Versailles. Tonight, maybe experience the excitement of a Parisian Cabaret dinner show. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 8 - Paris - London
Today we drive across the Somme Battlefields and past the Vimy Ridge to Calais. Here we sail across the Channel to the White Cliffs of Dover and make our way by coach to London. (Buffet Breakfast) |
