 Day 1 - Arrive Dublin
We greet you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. This afternoon, a sightseeing tour including views of Trinity College, St. Patrick's Cathedral and historic Phoenix Park. Then free time. Tonight, why not try a lively Dublin pub for a drop of Guinness? (Dinner)
Day 2 - Dublin - Waterford
Our first stop is the Irish National Stud Farm located outside of the historic town of Kildare. Then to medieval Kilkenny, dominated by its Norman Castle and ancient Cathedral. Later, we continue to Waterford, home of the famous crystal. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 3 - Waterford - Killarney (2 nights)
Enjoy a scenic drive via Dungarven and Youghal, where Moby Dick was filmed. On to Cork to see St. Anne's Shandon Church before reaching nearby Blarney Castle, with a chance to kiss the Stone and acquire the 'gift of the gab'. Next via Macroom, over the Derrynasaggart Mountains and into Killarney. Tonight, why not try some evening entertainment? (Full Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 4 - Ring of Kerry Excursion
We drive through scenery of plunging cliffs and spectacular lakes, between mountains and beaches on our tour of the 'Ring of Kerry'. The route takes us to Killorglin (of Puck Fair fame), and on to Daniel O'Connell's Cahirciveen. Then on to the quaint village of Waterville and Sneem, before returning to our hotel via the Killarney Lakes. (Full Breakfast)
Day 5 - Killarney - Sligo (2 nights)
Today we travel through the countryside of Limerick stopping to admire the prettiest village in Ireland, Adare. Then via Galway to the pilgrimage town of Knock. Here apparitions followed by miraculous cures brought the town to celebrity. Next it's an early evening arrival to windswept Sligo Bay. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 6 - Countryside and Donegal Excursion
Our day begins with a visit to Drumcliff where William Yeats is buried. Next we cross the border into County Fermanagh to visit the famous Belleek Pottery factory (when open). Then on to Donegal to visit the Tweed Centre before driving via the fishing ports of Killybegs and Ardara on our return to Sligo.

Day 7 - Sligo - Dublin
Today we continue through County Leitrim to follow the Royal Canal into Dublin's 'fair city'. Tonight, why not celebrate your last night at a typical Irish pub? (Full Breakfast)
Day 8 - Depart Dublin
Bid farewell as our Tour Director arranges a transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (Full Breakfast) |
