It's Insider moments like… discovering a lush tropical paradise at Fern Grotto – your hands trailing in the soft fronds of the countless ferns that give this royal hideaway its name. Listening to the rush of waterfalls and soaking up the sounds of nature around you. Then meeting the local people, getting to know them before watching a performance of traditional songs and hula dancing, followed by an al fresco lunch of authentic dishes, shared together with lunch at a waterfront restaurant overlooking the Wailua River.

Day by day

First Day Arrive in Oahu, Honolulu in Waikiki 

Welcome to Hawaii! In the traditional Aloha spirit, you'll be greeted at the airport with a flower lei. Explore your hotel in the heart of Waikiki Beach and spend the rest of the afternoon as you like: dive into the warm gentle waves of the Pacific or relax with a tropical drink poolside. At 6 p.m., gather for a Hawaiian-style Welcome Reception with your Travel Director and fellow travellers.

Second Day enjoy Oahu Sightseeing and Free Time

Begin your exploration of Oahu today. Traverse the island, passing through colourful villages, rainforests and pineapple plantations. See panoramic views of the deep blue waters from rugged cliffs, marvel at idyllic golden beaches and look out on the world-famous surf along the North Shore (seasonal), known for its huge waves during the winter. Back in Waikiki, the rest of your day is free; swim in the gentle waves or perhaps explore the shopping opportunities in Waikiki.

Third Day its Honolulu Free Time

Enjoy a full day today to explore on your own. For the more adventurous, try an outrigger canoe ride, take a surfing lesson or grab a snorkel and mask to spot sea turtles and dazzling tropical fish at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.

Fourth Day visit Pearl Harbor with Honolulu Sightseeing

Begin your day with a visit to Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial, a moving tribute to the military personnel who lost their lives in the 1941 attack that launched the U.S. into World War II. Return to down town Honolulu to see the splendid Iolani Palace, the iconic King Kamehameha I statue, and the state capitol building. Spend the rest of the afternoon on your own. Tonight, join your travel companions for a dinner.

Fifth Day see the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Kona 

Your morning begins with a short, scenic flight to the Big Island of Hawaii followed by an included lunch. Travel through forest preserves before arriving at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that's home to both the world's largest volcano and its most active. At an interpretive museum, learn about the fiery geology of the islands and walk through a real lava tube. Reach the coast and check into your ocean front resort.

Sixth Day have Free Time in Kona 

Wake to the sound of the sea and explore one of the most beautiful areas in the world on your own today. Options abound: don a snorkel and mask to see some of Hawaii's colourful and varied marine life; descend into the ocean depths on a submarine to explore a natural coral reef and its marine inhabitants; experience a spectacular helicopter flight-seeing excursion over Big Island; or just relax and enjoy the pool and other facilities at your ocean-front resort.  This evening, perhaps join an optional excursion to a working ranch for dinner and entertainment.

Seventh Day Travel to Maui 

Soar high above the Pacific again as you fly to Maui, the Magic Isle. Travel into the countryside to visit a local farm and learn about the sustainable agriculture on the islands. Then toast your host with a glass of wine and indulge in a Be My Guest lunch serving up delicious Hawaiian specialities made with the freshest local ingredients. Formerly a royal retreat, magnificent Kaanapali Beach is often ranked as one of America's finest beaches. Check in to your beach-front resort and relax for the evening.

Eighth and Ninth Day enjoy Free Time in Maui 

Enjoy two full days in paradise as you chart your own course through Maui's wonderlands. Spend some time on the long white-sand beaches. Explore the old whaling village of Lahaina with its trendy art galleries and welcoming cafés. Play 18 holes at a championship golf course overlooking the sea. See the sunrise from the summit of Mount Haleakala. Or make the scenic journey to the remote town of Hana. Maybe get a bird's-eye view of Maui on a helicopter excursion. During your stay, meet with a Local Expert and learn about the flora and fauna of the islands. On one evening, join your travelling companions for a Luau Regional Meal, featuring a sumptuous buffet, tropical cocktails and the songs and dances of old Hawaii and the South Pacific.

Tenth Day flight to Kauai

A brief flight takes you to the Garden Isle of Kauai. Head into the interior on a Wailua River cruise, passing by rainforests and the Sleeping Giant mountain ridge. Stroll to the gorgeous Fern Grotto. In this natural amphitheatre, Hawaiian singers and dancers will perform traditional songs and hula. A riverside lunch completes the day's events before heading to your beautiful ocean front resort.

Eleventh and Twelve Day its Free Time in Kauai 

Spend two glorious days on Kauai, savouring its many natural wonders. Maybe take a trip to immense Waimea Canyon, resplendent in the changing island light. Or travel by helicopter to the Na Pali Coast, where Jurassic Park was filmed. And don't forget to leave some time to enjoy your resort's stunning pool and gardens. On your final night on Kauai, join your Travel Director and travelling companions for a festive Farewell Dinner.

Thirteenth Day Depart Kauai

Hawaii

Join an exciting and fun-filled evening under the stars in the Waimea countryside at this spectacular working ranch. Inviting pastures with views of the western coastline and rolling Kohala Mountains await you. History comes alive as we share stories of the introduction of cattle in 1793 and the emergence of the paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy). A wonderful evening under the stars you will not forget. Discover both the Big Island’s beauty and its volcanic fury. Tour the most geologically active environment on earth-the famous Kilauea Volcano, which has been continuously erupting since 1983. View lava flows and black sand beaches. Experience all the awesome spectacle of Madame Pele’s lava and volcanic badlands, then explore the lush rainforests of the Hamakua Coast. The towering sea cliffs open into the dramatically deep and meandering valleys of the Kohala Mountains. Kauai

Over thousands of years, earthquakes and erosion have created dramatic variation in the landscape. Waimea Canyon, “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific”, is the showpiece of the tour. Along with the ever-present natural beauty of Waimea Canyon, historical and cultural spots provide a touch of romance to the tour, including the remains of the early 19th-century Russian Fort, Fort Elizabeth, and Old Koloa Town, a historic plantation town. Tour length: 7 hours.

Your journey begins with a flight to spectacular Hanapepe Valley, then continues on to Mana Waiapuna, commonly referred to as “Jurassic Park Falls.” Next it’s up the Olokele Canyon before moving on to eye-popping Waimea Canyon, the famed “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” where you’ll explore many hidden waterfalls. Then, the sculptural masterpiece of the Na Pali Coast gives way to the Bali Hai Cliffs, and the pristine blue waters of Hanalei Bay and the Princeville Resort area. Weather permitting, we’ll visit Mt Waialeale, the heart of the ancient volcano. This is the wettest spot on earth, with an average rainfall of 450-500 inches annually! This is a unique opportunity to experience the island through Hollywood’s eyes on an expert guided tour of Kauai’s famous movie locations. Maui

Come to the “house of the sun” where ancient Hawaiian myths tells how their demigod Maui lassoed the Sun.Rising over 10,000 feet above sea level, Haleakala is Maui´s, “house of the sun” in Hawaiian lore. Witness the breaking of a new day at the top of Mt. Haleakala. Renowned for its raw beauty and unique scenery, join us as we discover Haleakala National Park, the Visitor Center and Pu`u Ula`ula Overlook. Enjoy a day that will delight and amaze you! Dress warmly for the summit of Haleakala. (Temperatures are 30°F / 17°C cooler than at sea level. Climbing to this altitude is generally not recommended for people with heart conditions or those prone to altitude sickness. A 24-hour wait period is also recommended for anyone that has recently been scuba diving). We do not guarantee weather will permit viewing sunrise. Tour length: 8 hours.

Take the journey of a lifetime to East Maui. There are more than 600 curves on the road to Hana and you will weave through the surrounding forest and cross a total of 59 bridges. There are usually stops at Keanae Valley Lookout and Waianapanapa State Park that provide grand views of the ocean and surrounding hills. Once you reach the town of Hana you’ll have some time to take in all the charm of this sleepy, rural village. You’ll also make a stop at the Tedeschi Winery, a great place to discover more about Hawaii’s wine industry and sample a few varieties. Tour length: 11 hours.

Maui’s best snorkeling trip takes you to two exceptional sites, Molokini Crater and Turtle Town. It’s a journey to another world and one that you’ll never forget. Molokini is one of only three sheltered volcanic calderas in the world, with crystal clear water and a wealth of sea life. Afterwards, we’ll take you to meet the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles at Turtle Town, a mesmerizing coral reef teeming with turtles and other aquatic life. You’ll be able to interact safely with the turtles in their own spectacular habitat. Transportation included. Tour length 7.5 hours.

This tour is an exploration of some of Maui’s famous natural and cultural landmarks. You’ll experience rainforests and waterfalls in the cooler, wetter regions, and volcanic areas and dramatic foliage in Maui’s drier places. There are also breathtaking ocean views along portions of the route. A long, ascending road will take you through horse farms and towering eucalyptus groves until you reach Haleakala National Park. You’ll visit the spectacular volcanic crater, Mt. Haleakala, which in Hawaiian means “House of the Rising Sun”. At an altitude of 10,023 feet you’ll literally be above the clouds. You’ll even be able to see Mauna Loa volcano on the neighboring Big Island. Informative and fun, each two-hour classic whalewatch is led by a team of Pacific Whale Foundation’s certified Marine Naturalists, who explain and interpret the social behavior of humpback whales. Listen to whale songs through underwater hydrophones, watch mothers and calves interact and see males compete for females. Every trip is different; you never know what you will experience! One way transportation to Lahaina where ship departs is included. Duration: 3 hours.
