First Day Arrive in Copenhagen 

Welcome to Copenhagen, capital of Denmark. Relax and unwind after check-in. Later meet your Travel Director and fellow travellers.

Second Day  enjoy Copenhagen Sightseeing and Free Time

Your Local Specialist takes you on a morning sightseeing tour, which includes the Little Mermaid, the Renaissance Stock Exchange, Royal Amalienborg Palace and Christiansborg Palace. Spend the rest of the day exploring the sights of your choice or shopping.

Third Day Travel from Copenhagen to Stockholm

Cross the Oresund into Sweden and travel north through lush forests and meadows bordering the shores of Lake Vättern. Continue northwards to Stockholm, Sweden's beautiful capital surrounded by islands.

Fourth Day its Sightseeing at Sea

Admire Stockholm's biggest landmarks this morning with your Local Specialist, with views of the Royal Palace and City Hall. Built on a maze of islands accessible by bridges, Stockholm is an interesting city to wander through. Don't miss the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere before embarking on your mini-cruise to Finland!

Fifth Day at Sea with Helsinki Sightseeing and Free Time

Arrive early in Finland's capital for a sightseeing tour with your Local Specialsit. View Finlandia Hall, the Senate and market squares, sweeping boulevards and the beautiful domed Russian church. The rest of the day is yours to explore, shop for souvenirs or relax.

Sixth Day from Helsinki to St. Petersburg 

Follow the Finnish coast past the timber centre of Kotka, across the border into Russia and on past the town of Vyborg. Admire the scenery as you traverse the forests of Karelia, arriving later in St. Petersburg for a two-night stay.

Seventh Day have some Free Time and Sightseeing in St. Petersburg

The Tsar's Winter Palace, Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Statue of Peter the Great all feature on your guided sightseeing tour. Explore St. Peter and Paul Fortress with your Local Specialist and spend the rest of the day as you wish. You might like to visit the Hermitage Museum or the residence of Peter the Great in Petrodvorets.

Eighth Day Travel from St. Petersburg to Novgorod

Cross the vast Russian steppes to the ancient city of Novgorod where you view the Kremlin Fort, Millennium Monument and St. Sophia Cathedral. Dine tonight at your hotel.

Ninth Day go from Novgorod to Tver then Moscow 

Your wonderful journey continues through picturesque villages to the Tver region for an included lunch. Then travel via Klin, the former home of Tchaikovsky, to the Russian capital, Moscow.

Tenth Day enjoy Sightseeing and Free Time in Moscow

Moscow is a city full of wonderful buildings and monuments! Your Local Specialist shows you an array of sights including Red Square, the Kremlin Walls and the domed St. Basil's Cathedral. In your free time, consider visiting the impressive Treasure Chamber of the Tsars.

Eleventh Day journey from Moscow to Minsk

Drive past the region of Borodino, site of Napoleon's great defeat, and stop for lunch near Smolensk. Later, cross the border into Belarus and continue to Minsk. After the Second World War the city was rebuilt in supreme Soviet style which you can see during your orientation tour. Dine tonight at your hotel.

Twelve Day its onto Brest and Warsaw 

Traverse the huge plains of Belarus and stop for lunch at Brest on the Polish frontier. Afterwards, cross the River Vistula and arrive later in Warsaw, Poland's capital.

Thirteenth Day enjoy Warsaw Sightseeing and Free Time

Your Local Specialist shows you the site of the Warsaw Ghetto and the landmarks of Warsaw's Old Town, which was almost entirely destroyed during the Second World War. Later, you might like to soak up the city's culture and nightlife.

Fourteenth Day go from Warsaw to Berlin 

Travel west across the plains of central Poland and over the border into Germany, arriving later in the exciting city of Berlin!

Enjoy the quaint scenery of the Danish Riviera’s conservation heritage route, as you pass through ancient fishing villages and modern marinas. We'll also visit Fredensborg Palace, summer residence of the Royal family, before continuing to the magnificent 17th century Frederiksborg Castle, where you’ll see the State Apartments and the Coronation Chapel.

This evening we'll visit the fairy-tale village of Dragor with its thatched cottages and pretty working harbour. You’ll wander by tiny houses, learn a little of the history and enjoy a taste of traditional Danish specialities. Explore with us on a visit to see the Vasa, the 17th century Galleon recovered from the sea bed after more than 300 years and now displayed in an award-winning museum. Home to Finland's most famous architects, you’ll see the unique architecture combining natural stone and timber, one of the most accomplished examples of Finnish design which harmonises with the environment.

St Petersburg

Soak up the atmosphere, romance and lights of this former imperial capital, known as the Venice of the North. You'll cruise through the canals and along River Neva, sipping champagne as you discover the city that has inspired generations of artists.

At the palace of Pushin you'll admire marvels like the fairy-tale Amber Room, miraculously restored after Nazi occupation. You'll also discover the famous town of Petrodvorets, a Russian recreation of Versailles. Famed for its palaces and fountain cascades, you'll have time to relax and enjoy the elegant baroque gardens on our visit.

A chance to attend one of the best Russian folklore programs in St. Petersburg. You'll enjoy Cossack dances, songs, instruments and costumes from around Russia, and sample Russian champagne and vodka during the intermission. An unforgettable experience.

A haunting visit takes you through the opulent splendour of the home of pre-Revolutionary Russia's foremost noble family, the Yusupovs, and reveals the cellars where they murdered the infamous Rasputin. We'll also visit the Peter and Paul Cathedral, where you'll see the canonised Nicholas and relics of his wife and children.

Experience the beauty of St Isaacs Cathedral and explore the colourful centrepiece of the city - the Church of the Saviour 'on the spilled blood'. Built where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated, you’ll see the recently restored multi-coloured domes and mosaics based on St Basil's in Moscow, which evoke a feeling of Old Russia.

Tonight you'll discover some of the most remarkable stations, decorated with stained glass, mosaics and chandeliers, and finish in Red Square, to take in its fairy-tale evening atmosphere.

A unique opportunity to visit the Treasure Chamber of the Russian Tsars during our reserved visit. You’ll see the works of Faberge, the diamonds of Catherine the Great and her golden gowns. Poland has a rich culture and famous folk art. On this trip you'll have the chance to enjoy typical music and traditional dance while savouring a four-course meal of Polish specialities.

The spirit of Warsaw and the music of Chopin go hand in hand. This exclusive private recital of his music, performed for you by a celebrated Polish pianist in one of Warsaw’s old summer palaces, is one of the unforgettable memories of this trip.
