First day Arrive in Copenhagen for 2 nights

Welcome to Copenhagen! Unwind after check-in or spend time exploring Scandinavia's liveliest city. This evening, meet your Travel Director and travelling companions for a Welcome Reception. You will then enjoy an evening drive – the perfect introduction to Copenhagen.

Second day enjoy Copenhagen Sightseeing and Free Time

Admire the Little Mermaid, Renaissance Stock Exchange, the Royal Amalienborg Palace and Christiansborg Palace during your sightseeing tour with a Local Specialist. You are free this afternoon to shop for souvenirs or relax. Tonight, why not visit the famous Tivoli Gardens and enjoy a traditional Danish dinner.

Third day Travel from Copenhagen to Stockholm

Travel north-east across the Oresund to the forests and meadows of Småland. Continue past Lake Vättern and enjoy spectacular views of Brahehus Castle en route to the Swedish capital, Stockholm. Dine tonight at your hotel.

Fourth day its Sightseeing in Stockholm and Free Time - At Sea

Explore City Hall and view the Royal Palace during your sightseeing tour with a Local Specialist. Spend free time afterwards shopping or exploring the old town. Why not join an excursion to the Wasa, a 17th century Galleon reclaimed from the seabed after 300 years. Later, board your ship for an overnight mini-cruise to Finland.

Fifth day your off to Helsinki

After an early arrival in Helsinki, your Local Specialist shows you the city's sights including Finlandia Hall, Senate and Market Squares. This evening is free to enjoy local cuisine at the restaurant of your choice.

Sixth day visit St. Petersburg 

Follow the Gulf of Finland past the timber centre of Kotka and through the forests of Karelia to the Russian border. Dine tonight at your hotel.

Seventh day its St. Petersburg Sightseeing and Free Time

Your Local Specialist shows you the city's sights including the Tsar's Winter Palace, Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's Cathedral and the statue of Peter the Great. Visit the Peter and Paul Fortress and visit The Hermitage Museum to see one of the world's largest and most valuable art collections.

Eighth day more Free Time in St. Petersburg

A full day to explore the city or join an optional experience to visit the fabulous gardens and spectacular fountains of Peter the Great's summer residence at Petrodvorets.

Ninth day go from St. Petersburg to Novgorod

Enjoy free time this morning to explore St. Petersburg and to shop for gifts. Later, cross the vast Russian steppes and view the Kremlin Fort and grounds, the Millennium Monument and St. Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod. Enjoy a unique Be My Guest dining experience this evening.

Tenth day travel to Tver and Moscow 

A scenic drive through picturesque villages brings you to the Tver region for an included lunch. Then continue via Klin – former home of Tchaikovsky – to the Russian capital, Moscow.

Eleventh day enjoy Moscow Sightseeing and Free Time

Twelve day more Free Time in Moscow

A full day to explore this fascinating city. Enjoy the quaint scenery of the Danish Riviera's conservation heritage route, as you pass through ancient fishing villages and modern marinas. We'll also visit Fredensborg Palace, summer residence of the Royal family, before continuing to the magnificent 17th century Frederiksborg Castle, where you'll see the State Apartments and the Coronation Chapel.

We'll visit the fairy-tale village of Dragor with its thatched cottages and pretty working harbour. You'll wander by tiny houses, learn a little of the history and enjoy a taste of traditional Danish specialities. Then on to the magic of twinkling lights at Copenhagen's most famous attraction, Tivoli Gardens.


Enjoy an evening out in a popular local restaurant with its special cuisine and atmosphere, where you'll savour a delicious dinner and a drink.

Enjoy the beauty of Lake Malaren as we sail in an antique steamboat through the archipelago, past country cottages and elegant homes. Then on to Skansen Park, one of the world's oldest open air museums, where you'll experience living folklore and discover the Swedish way of life in years gone by.

Explore with us on a visit to see the Vasa, the 17th century Galleon recovered from the sea bed after more than 300 years and now displayed in an award-winning museum. You'll also take a walking tour through the Gamla Stan with your Local Specialist, who’ll reveal the old heart of Stockholm with its cobbled streets and fascinating shops.

Savour a drink in a glass made of ice in the minus temperatures of the Ice-Bar, made completely from the frozen waters of Sweden’s River Torne. You'll also discover the very best views over the city and its archipelago, with a visit to the viewing platform of the Kaknas Tower, Sweden’s highest building.


Helsinki's restaurants are featured in every Good Food Guide to the Baltic. Tonight you'll have seats reserved at a friendly local restaurant, to enjoy delicious cuisine and the specialities of the house in an authentic setting.

Join us on a drive through the Garden City of Tapiola, with its renowned modern architecture, then to Hvittrask. Home to Finland's most famous architects, you’ll see the unique architecture combining natural stone and timber, one of the most accomplished examples of Finnish design which harmonises with the environment.

St Petersburg

Soak up the atmosphere, romance and lights of this former imperial capital, known as the Venice of the North. You'll cruise through the canals and along River Neva, sipping champagne as you discover the city that has inspired generations of artists.

At the palace of Pushin you'll admire marvels like the fairy-tale Amber Room, miraculously restored after Nazi occupation. You'll also discover the famous town of Petrodvorets, a Russian recreation of Versailles. Famed for its palaces and fountain cascades, you'll have time to relax and enjoy the elegant baroque gardens on our visit.

A chance to attend one of the best Russian folklore programs in St. Petersburg. You'll enjoy Cossack dances, songs, instruments and costumes from around Russia, and sample Russian champagne and vodka during the intermission. An unforgettable experience.

A haunting visit takes you through the opulent splendour of the home of pre-Revolutionary Russia's foremost noble family, the Yusupovs, and reveals the cellars where they murdered the infamous Rasputin. We'll also visit the Peter and Paul Cathedral, where you'll see the canonised Nicholas and relics of his wife and children.

Experience the beauty of St Isaacs Cathedral and explore the colourful centrepiece of the city - the Church of the Saviour 'on the spilled blood'. Built where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated, you’ll see the recently restored multi-coloured domes and mosaics based on St Basil's in Moscow, which evoke a feeling of Old Russia.

There may be an opportunity to attend a ballet performance in the historic atmosphere of a Tsarist era theatre. Subject to availability of tickets and performance. Price will vary, depending on the venue and the Ballet Company.


Included in Western art critics 'Ten Places That You Want to See before You Die', Moscow Metro is the most grandiose architectural monument of the Soviet era. Tonight you'll discover some of the most remarkable stations, decorated with stained glass, mosaics and chandeliers, and finish in Red Square, to take in its fairy-tale evening atmosphere.

A unique opportunity to visit the Treasure Chamber of the Russian Tsars during our reserved visit. You'll see the works of Faberge, the diamonds of Catherine the Great and her golden gowns. Join us as we experience Russian history at the incredible Borodino Panorama, which depicts the moment the most decisive events occurred in the war between Russia and Napoleon's Grand Army - 12.30pm, 7 September 1812. Accompanied by special sound-effects, it will take you inside history. We'll follow with a walk through Novodevichy Park, where you'll see memorials to Checkhov and Raisa Gorbachova.

Discover Zagorsk, the Russian Vatican - centre of Orthodox faith and pilgrimage site. You'll see Troitse-Sergiieyeva Lavra, a working monastery where the Orthodox faith was tolerated by the Communist state and kept alive during the years of atheism. You'll also have time to browse Russian handicrafts and Matryoshka dolls at the local market.
