Day 1
Welcome to Greece! Be sure to arrive into Athens in time for our afternoon orientation walk of Graeco-Roman Athens. Consider arriving a day earlier to take maximum advantage of a stay in Athens and to see the interiors of sights in detail, as we’ll be viewing the exterior. On our walk, we view some historical sights such as the epic Temple of Zeus, the Roman Agora, the Panathenaic Stadium (restored for the first modern Olympics of 1896) and the Acropolis.

Days 2 - 8: Athens - Greek islands - breakfast daily
Leaving Athens, we travel by inter-island Greek ferries to the uninhibited island of Mykonos, the quintessentially Greek island of Ios and the awesome volcanic island of Santorini. Emphatically not a sightseeing tour, on arrival, you’ve 100% free time at your disposal to do as you want. After all - it’s your Greek island holiday! Discover stunning beaches for swimming; work on your tan or engage in optional watersports, explore the island on optional day trips available locally, shop in the local markets or hole-up in a taverna gorging on meze, ouzo shots and cold beer. Today, we return to Athens.

After breakfast, arrangements end. Can’t get enough of Greece? You’ve come all this way, so why not head across to Meteora.
